"Good oil, but... a little pricey"
I tried the olive oil from Texas Hill Country Olive Co, i liked it. It tasted fresh, and the bottle looked really nice sitting on the counter... kind of felt like a little treat.
That said, once I added in shipping, the total felt a bit steep. It’s definitely not bad, just... probably not something I’d buy all the time unless I caught it on sale...

"Actually great for everyday cooking"
I use this olive oil for a bunch of stuff, actually, salads, roasting veggies, and even making eggs in the morning. The flavor is really nice without being too strong or overpowering. My only little complaint is that I wish the bottle poured a bit cleaner. Overall, definitely a solid 4 stars

"Nice staff, but the advice felt a bit shaky"
I stopped in hoping to get some help picking out oils and maybe a good pairing or two, but the staff didn’t really seem that confident. They were friendly, and I appreciated that, but when I asked basic questions, like which oil would go better with roasted vegetables versus bread, the answers felt kind of vague. I remember one person pointing at a bottle and saying it was “probably good for most things,” which didn’t really help much. The store itself was fine, but I expected a little more guidance.

The site is decent for browsing, but it felt kind of clunky and slow at times, especially on mobile. A few pages were harder to find than they should’ve been, and after clicking around for a while, I started to wonder if I was missing something or if the site just wasn’t that well organized. Checkout was okay and I got through it without too much trouble, but the overall experience didn’t make me feel super confident. It works, but it could definitely be smoother

I was happy with how many oils and vinegars they had. I couldn’t decide what to try, so I just picked up a few smaller bottles. Really nice variety, and everything felt way more interesting than the usual stuff.

"Nice gift and packaged well"
I got this for my mom’s birthday and she was really happy with it. The bottles looked nice and had something about it that made it feel a little more special than a regular gift. Everything was packed well too. I took off one star because the shipping was a bit slower than I expected.

"Fun little olive oil tasting"
We stopped in for an olive oil tasting, I think it was right before we headed home, or maybe the day before, I can’t keep the timeline straight. Either way, it was really fun. I was surprised by how different all the oils tasted, and the staff was super chill about letting us try a bunch without making us feel rushed. The garlic oil was my favorite, plus one of the balsamics that I wish I remembered the name of. We ended up ordering more from the website once we got home. Definitely a nice little find

"Not quite fresh like I was hoping"
I ordered this olive oil and, a little flat it tasted to me. I was expecting something fresher. Shipping was totally fine, no issues there, but probably I won’t buy it again.

"Packaging made me a little nervous"
My order from Texas Hill Country Olive Co showed up on time, which I appreciated, but the packaging didn’t give me a ton of confidence. The bottle was wrapped, but the outside box looked banged up and there wasn’t much padding inside.
Thankfully nothing leaked or broke, so it worked out fine this time. I’m just a little cautious with glass bottles and olive oil, so I would’ve felt better if it had been packed more securely. Overall, not a bad experience, just something I’d hope they improve.

"Customer service was a bit disappointing"
I had to reach out to customer service because the tracking on my order wasn’t updating, i was a little disappointed with how long it took to hear back.
They did eventually respond, and the person I spoke with was polite enough, but I had to follow up before things really moved along. The issue got fixed in the end, but the communication wasn’t very clear at first.
Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, but I expected better. It just felt kind of slow and average, especially when I was trying to figure out what was going on with my order.

I ordered a few bottles from TexasHillCountryOliveCo.com, and when the package arrived, one of the items wasn’t what I had picked. Another one also looked like a different size than what I remember putting in my cart, so the whole thing was kind of frustrating to sort through.
Shipping itself was fine, but the order accuracy was disappointing. I emailed them about it and did get a reply eventually, but it felt like nobody really read what I wrote because I still had to explain the mix-up and deal with it. Not a terrible experience overall, but I definitely expected better.

"Shipping was quick, but felt slow somehow"
It actually showed up fast, which was nice. Weirdly, I still felt like I was waiting forever because I kept checking the tracking, but overall the shipping was quicker than I expected.

"Pretty disappointing olive oil"
I hate to be rude, but this really didn’t taste good to me. It came across as stale and had a bitter aftertaste that I couldn’t get past. Maybe others won’t mind it, but I definitely wasn’t happy with it.

"Fresh tasting, just a little pricey"
I tried their olive oil and liked it a lot. Maybe I’m just picky because I’ve bought a few cheaper ones that tasted kind of mixed or flat, but this one actually tasted fresh and real. The ingredient info was easy to understand too, which made it feel more trustworthy to me. Shipping was fine, no complaints there. I’m taking off one star mostly because I’m trying to watch my spending and it is a bit expensive, but I’d still probably order it again.

I had a good time on this tour. It was relaxed and easy to enjoy, and the oils we tasted were really good. Overall, I’d say it’s probably worth doing if you’re in the area.
